you guys have way too many deke sharon arrangements. he has a couple decent charts. but most of his stuff is garbage.
you should look into doing gene puerling or phil mattson arrangements. especially if you want to be taken seriously as a professional group.
The Christmas Concert was just what I needed to get into the Christmas mood. This was my first time hearing Opus One Jazz Ensemble. I went away with an unforgettable experience. I can't wait till next year. The Jazz ensemble from Cab Calloway was also great! I would recommend this concert and group to everyone I know. I went away wanting more I will be checking this website for upcoming events. I am looking forward to the next Concert. Thank you for an enjoyable evening. Congratulations on your fifth year! Have heard a lot of good things about "Opus One". Will be at St.James for the Christmas Concert this year.
Especially want to hear Jim Bimbi.
